The Captain Steve Rickard (Cornwall) had selected the following to represent SWCGA in the annual match against the Midland Golf Union which was  be played at Burnham & Berrow Golf Club on Friday 16th October 2015:-

The Morning Foursomes went the way of the South Western Counties Golf Association by four matches to one.

Josh Hilleard & Tom Robson were defeated by Matthew Fieldsend & Jack Gaunt 7 & 6

Jack Charman & Jake Burnage narrowly won by 1 hole against Patrick Ruff & Louie Pett

Haider Hussain & Andy Hale won 6 & 4 against Chris Nugent & Josh McMahon

Ben Amor & Ali James were winners by 3 & 2 versus Ashley Mason & Coby Cartwright

Conor Wilson & Rob McGregor were victorious by 5 & 3 against Matthew Hogg & George Bloor.

The afternoon Singles saw the Midlands Golf Union putting up a severe challenge winning the first two singles matches and halving the next two to ensure a nail biting finish.

The South West hang on to run out winners by a single point 8 to 7

Jack Charman lost 4 & 3 to Matthew Fieldsend

Jake Burnage lost 5 & 3 to Jack Gaunt

Tom Robson & Patrick Ruff halved

Josh Hilleard & Chris Nugent halved

Ben Amor Won 3 &2 against Joshua McMahon

Andy Hale lost at the 18th to George Bloor 1 down
